Marcia's Identity Statuses
How will understanding Identity Development help me throughout my career? :
Throughout my career of nursing I feel that it is vital that I know who I am. Nursing is a job of service meaning often time you have to put on a smile and be able to converse with many different types of people. When you are building relationships with people, people are more comfortable with someone whom may have similar interest or are interested in similar hobbies. I feel that as a nursing if i'm unable to identity myself, then it will be hard for me identify with other. Communicating with my patients on the level of identity will be helpful to me within my career.
